PANAMA HELD EXPOCOMER 2012, ITS FAMOUS INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR

Once again, Panama has shown its ability to draw businessmen from around the world to the 30th version of its international trade fair. EXPOCOMER 2012, the largest trade fair in the country organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), was inaugurated on March 21 and ended on March 24, with 500 exhibitors from 32 countries from the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

Businessmen and visitors found an extensive range of products and services from around the world, in addition to investment attractions that included logistics, the agricultural industry, tourism and financial services, among others.

Results indicated that initial transactions worth $100 million took place, and it is expected that the final count will amount to $130 million in transactions and $30 million contributing to the economy.
